- Research Zoning:
This function lets you search for a property by APN or address. Once you've located a property, you'll see the parcel in the center of the screen. Make sure all Zoning layers are checked as visible (Zoning, Zoning AICUZ, Zoning PUD, Zoning ISA, and Zoning Residential Buffer). Choose the Identify tool and click on the parcel in question. You will see all of the parcel's Attribute information in the pop up window. You may also want to refer to the following sources:
- Moreno Valley Zoning Atlas Legend (Acrobat pdf file 05/12)
- Moreno Valley Municipal Code
-
Property Map Functions:
These functions let you search for property by APN or address. Once you've located a property, you'll see the parcel in the center of the screen. If your search finds multiple records, you can scroll and select the specific property. Once the property is selected, you can choose to overlay any combination of GIS layers. Choosing Identify and clicking in the parcel retrieves all available information for visible GIS layers.
-
Notification Functions:
These functions let you create queries that identify parcels within a selected geographic area and create a down-loadable address list. You can also select the parcels individually to achieve the same results.
- Creating and Printing Maps:
You can create maps in (portrait or landscape layouts) and various sizes from 8.5” x 11” to 11” x17”. The GIS OnLine system generates the map in the form of an Adobe Acrobat pdf file. You can then print, save, or email the pdf map file.
