Design Sunnymead Master Drainage Plan Line F and Line F-7

The project includes the design of a storm drain system in Sunnymead Master Drainage Plan (MDP). The proposed storm drain includes approximately 3,400 feet of pipe starting from the intersection of Hemlock Avenue and Graham street, going west along Hemlock Avenue to mid-block between Graham Street and Pigeon Pass Road, then going south pass State Route 60 and Sunnymead Boulevard to approximately 700 feet south of Sunnymead Boulevard. The storm drain includes various pipe sizes, several basins, and miscellaneous appurtenances. The purpose of the storm drain is to mitigate flooding that occurs in various locations in Sunnymead MDP: Hemlock Avenue and Graham Street Intersection, south of Hemlock Avenue at Towngate Apartment Complex, and along Sunnymead Boulevard east of Frederick Street. The design of the project is funded with the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) monies and is to be completed by December 2015. The City is seeking funding from various grant opportunities including CDBG and Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) to construction the storm drain. The construction of the project will start once funding becomes available.
