Redevelopment Project Area Committee (PAC)
The Annual Meeting of the City of Moreno Valley Redevelopment Project Area Committee (PAC) will be held at 7 p.m., March 3, 2003, at Moreno Valley City Hall, 14177 Frederick Street. The purpose of the meeting is to elect PAC representatives for homeowners, tenants, service organizations and business owners/operators within the Project Area.
Qualified voters and applicants include homeowners, tenants, service organizations and business owners/operators located within the Project Area. Applications for committee membership are available at the City Clerk's office and Community and Economic Development Department. The deadline to file applications is Thursday, February 27, 2003.
The Project Area Committee reviews and makes recommendations to the Agency Board of Directors (City Council) regarding certain agreements and matters relating to the Project Area. The committee also advises the Agency on matters dealing with the planning and provision for residential facilities or replacement housing for those residents displaced by project activities or programs.
The Redevelopment Project Area Committee provides input and recommendations regarding the activities of the Redevelopment Agency. Meetings are scheduled on the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m., City Hall Training Room, 14177 Frederick Street.
