TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS
KRAMERIA AVENUE @ KITCHING STREET
On March 10, 2003, traffic signal work started at the intersection of Krameria Avenue and Kitching Street. The roadwork will be constructed during the week of March 17, when Bethune Elementary School is not is off. The project will construct a new traffic signal and reconstruct the cross gutter, handicap ramps and pavement at the intersection.
Construction work hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. Weekend work (Saturdays only as needed) will be between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weather permitting, this project should be completed by mid-July 2003.
Commuters are advised to take alternate routes to avoid this intersection during the construction period, specifically between the hours of 7-8 a.m. and 2-3 p.m. This project is being funded with Measure "A" Funds.
