Moreno Valley seeks vendors for
Independence Day Festival
Moreno Valley’s Parks and Recreation Department is accepting vendor applications for its “Award-Winning Event” Family FunFest, which has received the Press-Enterprise Newspaper’s Reader’s Choice Award for “Best Community Event” for the past ten years.
This year the event will feature two top-notch entertainers: The Association and Gary Puckett. They’ll be performing their top 40 hits from the ‘60s and ‘70s including: “Young Girl, Woman Woman, Lady Willpower, Over you, This Girl, Is a Woman Now, Keep The Customer Satisfied, Don't Give In To Him, and Home."
Moreno Valley will kick off the day with a parade Tuesday, July 4, at 9:30 a.m. and continue with the festival activities, concert, and fireworks display. The festival concludes with a spectacular fireworks display at 9 p.m., which is simulcast on radio station KOLA 99.9 FM.
Vendor applications are being accepted for food, arts & crafts, and non-profit information booths. For more information on how to apply as a vendor, contact the Moreno Valley Parks and Recreation office at 413-3280.
