Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy Adults and Teens

Moreno Valley Parks and Community Services announces a one-time, 3-hour class called “Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy Adults and Teens.” If you’ve ever wanted to learn guitar, but didn’t have the time for lessons, this special class will be held May 7th from 4 - 6:30 p.m. at the Conference and Recreation Center.

The class teaches the basics about playing chords on the guitar, so students can start having fun right away playing their favorite songs. “Over 20,000 students have attended my “Instant Piano” class with great results,” said 15-year music instructor Craig Coffman. “Many young people want to learn the guitar, but the time and money involved in taking private lessons keeps them away. With this class I’m able to give them enough information and tools that they can go home right away and teach themselves what they want to learn,” Coffman said.

No music or guitar experience is required to attend the class. The class is designed for the absolute beginner, and no one will be put “on the spot” or embarrassed. If you have the desire and the motivation to practice, you can learn to play the guitar.

For more information about the cost of the class and to register, please call Moreno Valley Parks and Community Services at 951.413.3280. Be sure to bring your acoustic guitar!
