City distributes hazardous waste video

The City of Moreno Valley’s award-winning cable TV channel, MVTV-3, has completed a hazardous waste disposal video titled “HAZMAT: What Goes Where.”  The 9-minute video explains the three main types of hazardous waste and how residents in Riverside County can safely dispose it.

“MVTV-3 staff teamed up with Riverside County Waste Management officials to create a professionally produced, educational video,” said Assistant to the City Manager, Angela Rushen.  “The goal was to create an engaging video with relevant information people could really apply in their daily lives,” Rushen said.

The DVD features facts and information specific to Riverside County, which means the video can be used by multiple agencies within the County. The City of Moreno Valley plans to make the video available free to any agency interested in showing the program.  The video is available in the following formats: DVD, VHS, Mini DV and Windows Media File for streaming over the Web.
