Spelling Bee winners announced

Moreno Valley’s Students-Teachers Achieving Real Success or S.T.A.R.S. program announced its first annual Spelling Bee winners. The Spelling Bee Preliminaries began on March 3, 2008 at all 41 S.T.A.R.S. after-school program sites and ended April 29th. The Spelling Bee Preliminaries and Finals were divided into three categories: grades K-2, grades 3-5, and grades 6-8. Winners are as follows:

Moreno Valley Noon Rotary judged the Spelling Bee Finals, and the winners from each grade category received a plaque and a savings bond from Visterra Credit Union.
