Sunnymead Boulevard Improvements

Slurry Seal Work As part of the Sunnymead Boulevard Beautification and Enhancement project, the Contractor will be slurry sealing Sunnymead Boulevard from Frederick Street to Perris Boulevard starting February 8, if weather permits. The work is anticipated to be completed within 5 working days. In order to reduce the disruption to the local businesses and have the work completed as soon as possible, the work shall begin around 6:00 a.m. and end at around 5:00 p.m. Slurry seal is a pavement coating that extends the life of the asphalt roadway and provides a uniform surface color. The roadway will also receive new striping after the slurry seal is applied to the pavement surface. The Contractor has posted 14-day advance notices and will post 48-hour advance notices along the roadway. All businesses will remain open and accessible to the public during the slurry seal application.

For more information regarding the construction project, please contact the Capital Projects Division’s Senior Engineer, Christopher Wiberg at 951.413.3135.
