City Offers Numerous Special
Activities for Children
The Moreno Valley Parks and Community Services Department will host several special activities this spring. On Saturday, March 27, a free Easter Egg Hunt will be held for local children ages 2 to 12 years of age at Sunnymead Park located at 12655 Perris Boulevard at 9:00 a.m. sharp. Designated age and physically challenged fields will be full of hidden candy and prize-filled eggs. Following the egg hunt, come join in at the Bunny Brunch scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Senior Community Center located at 25075 Fir Avenue. Cost for the brunch is $6.00 for residents, $7.50 for non-residents, and children ages 3 to 12 years of age will enjoy a morning of games, crafts, a special breakfast prepared just for them, and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Hop Down the Craft Trail will be held on Tuesday, March 30, at the TownGate Community Center located at 13100 Arbor Park Lane from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Children 5 to 12 years of age will make several creative spring crafts. Resident fee is $9.00, $11.25 for non-residents
The final seasonal activity provided by the Moreno Valley Parks and Community Services Department is the Spring Easter Chef’s Workshop on Thursday, April 1, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the TownGate Community Center. Resident fee is $6.00, $7.50 for non-residents, children ages 5 to 12 years old will make delicious holiday goodies to take home and enjoy.
