“A Child’s Place” Now Accepting Applications for Child Care ServicesThe City of Moreno Valley’s Parks and Community Services Department is accepting child care applications for “A Child’s Place” program at the following school sites: Armada, Creekside, Rainbow Ridge, and Red Maple elementary schools. Child care services are available for children ages five through twelve years. Child care services are available from after school dismissal until 6:00 p.m. and full time from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during non-student days, holidays, and spring and summer breaks. Services provided include homework assistance, crafts, nutritious snacks, and recreation activities for children. The program is free or available at a reduced rate according to family income and size. Parents must either be working or attending school to qualify for services. For more information, please contact the Moreno Valley Parks and Community Services Department at 413.3286 or pick up an application at the elementary school site or the Conference and Recreation Center located at 14075 Frederick Street in Moreno Valley. ### |
