City Launches Social Media Accounts and
E-News Subscription Service

The City of Moreno Valley's Media and Communications Division is now using popular social media outlets and an e-news subscription service to further enhance communication with the residents, businesses, and visitors of Moreno Valley. A Facebook page, a Twitter account, a YouTube channel, and an e-mail list will help keep the community informed on events occurring in the City.

Community members are encouraged join the City's new e-mail list to receive important Moreno Valley updates. Registration for the email list is simple and fully customizable. Registrants may choose to sign up to receive the Monthly Newsletter (City Link), general news about the Moreno Valley, City Event Notifications, and information related to MVTV-3 programming.

City Link, once a quarterly publication contained in the City's Parks and Recreation Guide Soaring, is now only distributed electronically via the City's e-news subscription service. This environmentally friendly and cost saving measure has allowed the newsletter to be published more frequently with new business information, a calendar of events, and stories of local interest.

The City's e-mail list can be found by visiting and entering an email address in the upper right corner of the webpage. Users may unsubscribe simply by using which guarantees the permanent removal of email addresses from its mailing list.

The Facebook and Twitter accounts were created in order to update City residents in a timely and efficient manner regarding events and news occurring in Moreno Valley. The City's Facebook page offers photographs, videos, contact information, and detailed City updates. The Twitter account allows one hundred and sixty characters per "tweet" so updates are concise and easy to read for all subscribers.
