Mayor to Deliver the State of the City Address

Moreno Valley Mayor Richard A. Stewart will deliver the State of the City address at a luncheon on Thursday, August 18 at the Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Center, located at 14075 Frederick Street. This annual event is co-sponsored by the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce and the City of Moreno Valley.

The Mayor and City Council Members will hold a "meet and greet" reception at 11:30 with the luncheon and program beginning at noon. Mayor Stewart will discuss the accomplishments achieved by the City in the last year and will share information on the numerous "Soaring Opportunities" occurring in Moreno Valley. March Air Reserve Base Brigadier General Mark A. Kyle will introduce the Mayor and the event will be hosted by Chamber Chairman Sandy Ramirez.

The State of the City luncheon is being catered by Chef Ryan Nagby of Cutting Edge Catering. The cost to attend the annual event is $45 per person for members of the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce; non-members are $55. Reservations are required as this event sells out every year. Contact the Chamber of Commerce at 951.697.4404 for reservations and additional information, or visit the Chamber Web site at www.movalchamber.org. The City will have the Alessandro Room at the Conference and Recreation Center available to view the speech at no charge to the public should an individual be unable to obtain a reservation.
