Utilities Commission
The Commission shall have the general power and duty to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council and staff in all matters pertaining to Moreno Valley Utility (MVU), pertaining to other utility services such as water, sewer, gas, and the investor-owned electric utility serving parts of the city, and in addition, particular powers and duties including reviewing the budget for the Moreno Valley Utility, making recommendations with respect thereto to the City Council, reviewing and making recommendations on all Moreno MVU capital improvements and rates, and responding to requests and concerns of the public relating to utility issues.
The Commission has five members and meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m., City Hall - Council Chamber,14177 Frederick Street.
