Moreno Valley Adds Times, Locations for
"We've Got You Covered" Free Mask Giveaway

For immediate release: August 24, 2020

Residents still in need of masks to help slow the spread of coronavirus now have more opportunities to get them as part of the City of Moreno Valley's "We've Got You Covered" free mask giveaway program, which is distributing 175,000 masks citywide.

The program was made possible when Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez secured mask donations from the U.S. Conference of Mayors, government agencies, local businesses and other organizations.

"It's critically important that we each do what we can to slow the spread so we can begin to get adults back to work, children back to school and all of us back to some semblance of normal life," said Mayor Gutierrez. "We must not let down our guard too early again."

Free masks will be available at the following times and locations:

Mondays - Thursdays, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Employment Resource Center, 12625 Frederick St., Suite K-3

Monday, August 24, 8 - 10 a.m. and 2 - 4 p.m.
Food 4 Less, 24440 Alessandro Blvd.

Tuesday, August 25, 8 - 10 a.m. and 2 - 4 p.m.
Stater Bros., 11875 Pigeon Pass Rd.

Wednesday, August 26, 8 - 10 a.m. and 2 - 4 p.m.

Moreno Valley Agrega Horarios y Lugares Para La Distribución Gratuita de Mascarillas Faciales "Los Tenemos Cubiertos"

Los residentes que aún necesitan máscaras para ayudar a frenar la propagación del coronavirus ahora tienen más oportunidades de conseguirlas como parte del programa gratuito "Los Tenemos Cubiertos" de la Ciudad de Moreno Valley, que está distribuyendo 175,000 mascarillas en toda la Ciudad.

El programa fue posible cuando el Alcalde Yxstian Gutiérrez consiguió donaciones de máscaras de la Conferencia de Alcaldes de los Estados Unidos, agencias gubernamentales, empresas locales y otras organizaciones.

"Es muy importante que todos hagamos lo que podamos para frenar la propagación para que podamos comenzar a que los adultos regresen al trabajo, los niños regresen a la escuela y todos volvamos a una apariencia de vida normal," dijo el Alcalde Gutiérrez. "No debemos volver a bajar la guardia demasiado pronto."
