Department Outreach

The Moreno Valley Fire Department is a valuable source of information for the community. Let us share fire preparedness, fire extinguisher training, and career information with your school, organization, service group or business. Simply fill out a request form, and we'll get back to you.

Resources

  • Alert Moval – Sign up to be immediately notified during an emergency event or disaster
  • ACES/RACES – Communications and radio training for emergency incidents
  • Become a Volunteer, Reserve Firefighter, or Fire Explorer
  • Become a Firefighter – Interested in making a life-saving difference in your community?
  • CPR & First Aid Classes:
    Knowing CPR and First Aid skills empower you to help someone in need. CPR is an important skill that everyone should learn. You never know when you may need this skill to help a stranger or to save someone you know and love. For more information, contact the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross or your local CPR/First Aid training provider.
  • Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) – Learn lifesaving skills to prepare for a disaster
  • Fire Report Request or Burn Permit – Request a copy of your fire report or obtain a burn permit
  • Free smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are available for Moreno Valley Residents through the SAFER program
  • Free Sandbags
    During heavy rains and flooding, sandbags will be available to Moreno Valley residents, free of charge.  Unfilled sandbags are available at the following sites: Fire Station 48, Fire Station 58, and Fire Station 91. Residents are responsible for bringing their own shovel and filling it themselves. Sand for the bags can be obtained at any Fire Station or the City Yard.
